Katie began her legal career in St. Louis representing employees in a variety of employment law matters, including workplace discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage disputes, and cases involving discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity.

She later spent six years representing employers in employment litigation, handling cases nationwide involving discrimination claims, sex and gender-based harassment, retaliation, FMLA disputes, whistleblower claims, wage-and-hour issues, and noncompete agreements. This experience exposed her to a wide range of complex workplace disputes and employment litigation matters.

Katie’s practice focuses on employment litigation and workplace rights advocacy. She represents clients in federal and state courts, as well as in mediation, arbitration, and proceedings before administrative agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).

Her experience includes both single-plaintiff and multi-plaintiff matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, breach of contract, and wage-and-hour violations. This includes cases involving discrimination and harassment affecting members of the LGBTQIA+ community in the workplace.

Katie works closely with clients throughout the legal process to ensure they understand their options and feel supported at every stage of their case.
