
Bob Ortbals founded Gateway Employment Law to help protect the rights of employees who’ve been mistreated by their employers. Before doing so, he spent nearly 20 years representing employers at some of the largest law firms in the U.S. He represented companies ranging from the Fortune 500 to small businesses and startups. Bob’s handled matters covering nearly every type of employment dispute imaginable. This includes discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage-and-hour, family and medical leave, whistleblowing, and noncompete agreements.
Bob’s extensive experience representing employers allows him to understand the tactics they use to attack employees’ claims. His background of defending and negotiating on behalf of employers gives him insight into how they value employees’ claims.
